Container Transit From China to UK via Kaliningrad

RZD Logistics and UTLC ERA hasve organized a multimodal transit shipment of cargo from China to Greta Britain via Kaliningrad sea port.

A block train carrying fifty 40’ units laden with car parts, industrial equipment componentry, medical equipment and other goods from Xian routed via Altynkol in Kazakhstan arrived to Kaliningrad as part of the regular train service operated by UTLC ERA.  There, the containers were loaded on board a vessel to be shipped to Immingham in the UK.

According to RZD Logistics, rail container traffic between China and Europe surged by 80% in 2020 compared to 30-40% in the past years.
