Экспорт цветных металлов, январь 2021: отгрузки алюминия выросли, меди снизились

Aluminum Export Up, Copper Export Down in January 2021

  • According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January 2021 Russia exported 260 thousand tons of unwrought aluminum, up 2.2-fold year-on-year and up 0.1% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged by 88% year-on-year and grew by 0.3% month-on-month to $393.3 mn.

    Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 40.4% year-on-year and down 70.1% month-on-month to 35.5 thousand tons worth $253.6 mn, down 27.8% year-on-year and down 70.2% month-on-month.

    Unwrought nickel export in January 2021 was down 94.1% year-on-year and down 98.3% month-on-month to 500 tons. In terms of value, it dropped by 99.5% year-on-year and by 99.9% month-on-month to make $600 thousand.
