According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January 2021 Russia exported more than 1 mn tons of potash fertilizers, up 9.1-fold year-on-year and up 12.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, potash fertilizers export surged 7.2-fold year-on-year and increased by 13.3% month-on-month up to $197 mn.
Nitric fertilizers export amounted to 867.4 thousand tons, down 12.8% year-on-year and down 37.3% month-on-month. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export decreased by 14.7% and by 36.9% down to $172.1 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export in January 2021 declined by 29.5% year-on-year and by 47.2% month-on-month to make 591.2 thousand tons worth $161.2 mn, down 19.6% year-on-year and down 46.7% month-on-month.
