First Shipment of Oil Products from Belarus Arrives at Petersburg Oil Terminal

  • Petersburg Oil Terminal has received the first shipment of oil products from Belarus. 3.6 thousand tons of fuel oil was delivered by rail.

    The delivery follows the agreement signed between the Government of Russia and that of Belarus providing for shipping Belarussian oil products via sea terminals in Russia.

    The agreement envisages handling in Russian ports 3.5 mn tons of Belarussian oil products in 2021, 3.2 mn tons in 2022, and 3.1 mn tons in 2023.

    Petersburg Oil Terminal is to handle 680 thousand tons and 130 thousand tons of mix oils in 2021.
