According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-November 2020 Russia’s export of vodka declined both in physical terms and value-wise.
It made 2 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 3.8% year-on-year, physically, and $128.4 mn, down 9.8%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-November decreased by 6.7% year-on-year to $2.5 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-November declined by 10.5% down to $49.5 mn.
In November, Russia exported 240.1 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 14.3% year-on-year and up 2.5% month-on-month, worth $14.6 mn, down 17.5% year-on-year and up 3.5% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in November was down 5.9% year-on-year and up 1% month-on-month to $327.4 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in November was down 32.1% year-on-year and up 58.3% month-on-month to $3.8 mn.
