TransContainer has completed a large-scale modernization programme at its Khabarovsk-2 container terminal in Khabarovsk in the Russian Far East.
The capacity of yard No7 has been increased by almost 50 per cent up to 620 TEU, the rail length expanded up to 23 railcars, and the stacking height up to 4 layers.
The measures are aimed at reducing the time spent on handling containers and delivering cargo to customers.
Khabarovsk is an important transport hub in the trade between Russia and APR countries and a distribution point for the Russian Far East region.
