Global Ports is launching a regular train service between two of its terminals, VSC in the Russian Far East and Yanino dry port in the North-West of Russia.
The first train departed with 145 TEU laden with South Korean goods. The transit time is 11 days.
The service is aimed for industrial and consumer goods from the APR designated for North-Western Russia regions that are delivered to VSC by sea.
In Yanino, goods can be customs cleared, stored, stripped from containers and stuffed into trucks.
