Block Train for Siberian Grain to China

  • Eurisub SPb – Transport Systems has launched a pilot project to transport oilseeds produced by Omskoe Prodovolstvie from Siberia to China by block trains.

    The first train carrying 93 TEU departed the Karbyshevo 1 freight station in Omsk on September 23 and is to arrive at the Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company marine terminal in 9 days. There, the containers will be loaded on board a container vessel to be carried to China.

    The service is planned as regular with a frequency of 2-3 train a month, a spokesperson for Eurisub told SeaNews.
