FESCO has launched a regular block train between St. Petersburg and Vladivostok. In St. Petersburg, two terminals are used, the marine Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg and the rail station of Finlandsky.
Test shipments started in July this year, and in September the service has become a regular one. The frequency is twice a month, in future, the train can become weekly in both directions.
The transit time is 10-12 says. The train service is aimed for various types of commodity from equipment to food products to/from Asia.
