FESCO has launched a regular container service to deliver fish and seafood from the Russian Far East to Jilin Province in China.
Reefer container are delivered by FESCO’s regular liner services from Kamchatka, Magadan and Sakhalin to Commercial Port of Vladivostok and carried by rail to Hunchun in Jilin Province.
The first test shipments started in May this year. Since September, the service has been operated on a regular basis.
The frequency is weekly, the transit time is about 4 days, in future it could be cut to make 2 days. The target monthly volume is about 150 TEU.
Dalreftrans, a subsidiary of FESCO, is a reefer operator within the Group.
