According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-June 2020 Russia exported 6.4 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, down 2.6% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export declined by 16.9% down to $1.2 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to more than 5.2 mn tons, down 0.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export decreased by 21.6% down to $1.3 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-June 2020 made more than 3.1 mn tons, level with the previous year’s result. In terms of value, it dropped by 23.7% down to $772.9 mn.
In June, nitric fertilizers export declined by 12.4% year-on-year, and by 16.2% month-on-month making 1.1 mn tons worth $209.1 mn, down 18.2% year-on-year and down 10.9% month-on-month.
Mixed fertilizers export made 960.8 thousand tons, up 3.9% year-on-year and up 15.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, it decreased by 16.8% year-on-year, but grew by 19.3% month-on-month to make $249.7 mn.
Potash fertilizers export in June increased by 15.6% year-on-year, but declined by 6% month-on-month to make 898.9 thousand tons worth $168.6 mn, down 20.3% year-on-year and down 7.9% month-on-month.
