Dredging in Sabetta

  • Dredging has started in the Utrenniy LNG and condensed gas terminal basin in the port of Sabetta, Rosatom said in a statement.

    Some 12 mn cubic meters of soil is to be dredged in 2020. The work has to be done in a very short period as the ice-free period in the Arctic area is just 60-70 days a year.

    The terminal construction is to be completed in 2022. The overall dredging volume exceeds 20mn cubic meters.
