FESCO Launches Intra-Russian Far East Block Train

  • FESCO has launched a new regular container rail service from Khabarovsk to Vladivostok in the Russian Far East branded FESCO Far East Shuttle.

    The service frequency is twice a week, in future, a third train a week could be added. Trains leave from the Stroyopttorg terminal adjacent to the Krasnaya Rechka station in Khabarovsk and arrives in Vladivostok 24 hours later.

    The planned monthly traffic is 600-700 TEU laden with a wide range of commodities from consumer goods to sawn goods, both for the home market and export designated.

    Test shipments were made in July this year, since August the train runs regularly.
