According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-April 2020 Russia’s export of vodka made 517.7 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 15.8% year-on-year, worth $35.6 mn, down 19.5%.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-April declined by 1.9% year-on-year to exceed $780 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-April increased by 7.1% up to $19.5 mn.
In April, Russia exported 138.8 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 25.3% year-on-year and down 15.9% month-on-month, worth $7.4 mn, down 46% year-on-year and up 41.3% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in April was down 11.6% year-on-year and down 11.4% month-on-month to $193.8 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in April was down 19.6% year-on-year and down 32.6% month-on-month to $3.7 mn.
