According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in Q1 2020 Russia’s export of vodka made 381.5 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 11% year-on-year, physically, and $28.2 mn, down 7.5%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-March grew by 1.8% year-on-year to exceed $584.5 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import increased by 14% up to $15.5 mn.
In March, Russia exported 165 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 6.9% year-on-year and up 24.1% month-on-month, worth $12.6 mn, up 16.7% year-on-year and up 34% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import was up 4.8% year-on-year and up 8.3% month-on-month to $218.8 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in March was up 18.4% year-on-year and up 20.8% month-on-month to $5.8 mn.
