Novatek to Get Subsidy for Kamchatka LNG Project

  • An additional 3.5 bn rubles ($47.7 mn) has been assigned for the LNG terminal construction on the Kamchatka Peninsula by a governmental decree.

    The project developed by Novatek envisages building a transshipment and storage facility for transshipping LNG from Arctic LNG tankers onto conventional gas carriers for delivery to consumer markets.

    Novatek earlies said it intends to invest 70 bn rubles ($955 mn) into the project.
