According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-October 2019 Russia exported some 11.7 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 4.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew by 9.7% up to some $2.4 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 8.9 mn tons, which is 2.4% below the result for January-September 2018. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export increased by 0.2% up to $2.7 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during the first ten months of 2019 increased by 11% up to more than 7.1 mn tons. In terms of value, it grew by 27.3% up to $1.8 bn.
In October, nitric fertilizers export was up 30.4% year-on-year and down 14.7% month-on-month making 1.2 mn tons worth $221.3 mn (up 16% year-on-year and down 15.9% month-on-month).
Mixed fertilizers export in October made 834.9 thousand tons, up 8.4% year-on-year and down 33.7% month-on-month. In terms of value, it declined by 9.5% year-on-year and by 42.8% month-on-month to make $215 mn.
Potash fertilizers export in October increased by 7.9% year-on-year and declined by 14.4% month-on-month to make 780.5 thousand tons worth $180.5 mn, up 4.5% year-on-year and down 20.9% month-on-month.
