TransContainer Posts Profit Growth

  • TransContainer has published its reviewed interim condensed consolidated financial statements for Q3 and 9 months of 2019 in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards.

    The total revenue of the company for the 9 months of 2019 increased by 14.4% year-on-year up to 63.8 bn rubles. Adjusted revenue grew by 27.7% up to 28.6 bn rubles, largely as a result of an 8.7% increase in revenue-generating container transportation volumes.

    Adjusted operating expenses were up 7.5% year-on-year to 16.2 bn rubles. Net profit grew by 57.8% year-on-year up to 10.5 bn rubles in January-September.

    The total revenue of the company for Q3 2019 increased by 9.3% year-on-year up to 22.3 bn rubles. Profit before income tax was up 26.4% to 5.5 bn rubles, net profit increased by 28% up to 4.4 bn.

    Operating expenses for Q3 were up by just 1.3% year-on-year to 17.3 bn rubles. Operating profit totaled 7,942 mn rubles, net profit grew by 90.1% year-on-year up to 6,067 mn rubles.
