Arkas and Maersk Restart Reefer Service to Novorossiysk

  • Arkas Line and Sealand Europe & Med-A Maersk Company have announced restarting their seasonal reefer service Russian Express Service (REX) to Novorossiysk.

    The port rotation is: Mersin – Novorossiysk – Mersin. The service will call at the NUTEP terminal in Novorossiysk. The transit time between Mersin and Novorossiysk will make 4 days.

    According to Arkas, the service will be based on a vessel sharing agreement, each party will provide one vessel with an average capacity of 600 reefer plugs.

    The first call is planned on Week 44 with the m/v “Emma A” departing Mersin on November 2.
