With two Liebherr LHM 800 cranes Bronka claims to be the only Russian port capable of handling heavylift cargo up to 500 tons apiece.
October 14 a new Liebherr LHM 800 mobile crane arrived at Bronka. The hoisting capacity of the unit is 302 tons in a hook mode and 60 tons in a spreader twin-lift mode.
According to Bronka Group, using the new crane in a combination with the similar unit that was put into operation in 2015 the Bronka will be the only Russian port capable of handling heavylift cargoes weighing up to 500 tons.
Nikita Murov, Managing Director of Bronka Group, said that with the new crane and its well-planned infrastructure and logistically favourable location the port will be able to expand its share in the heavilift market and increase throughput.
