Test Block Train from China to Slovakia

  • TransContainer has launched a test block train from Xian in China to Dunajska Streda in Slovakia.

    The train carrying containers with household appliances, clothes, car parts and other goods for consignees in Europe departed Xian on September 15 and reached the Slovakian border crossing Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine on September 29.

    Next day, containers were loaded onto narrow gauge standard rolling stock at Dobra terminal and arrived at Dunajska Streda on October 3. From there, goods will be delivered to customers in Czhechia, Hungary, Austria and Germany.

    On October 7, a return train carrying goods from Europe to China is to depart from Dunajska Streda.
