Agroexpress Train to China

  • RZD Logistics has launched Agroexpress train service to transport Russian produced agricultural cargoes to China.

    The first train carrying forty-one 40’ containers laden with wheat flour manufactured by Grain Holding Group left from the Vorsino terminal in Kaluga Region for Tianjin.

    The train is routed via Mongolia. The transit time is about 16 days.

    In 2019, Grain Holding Group plans to export 10 tons of flour to China, the target for 2020 is 80 thousand tons, and since 2022 the annual target is over 100 tons.

    The buyer is Xingtai Lanli Import and Export Co., Ltd, with whom the Russian manufacturer signed a 10-year contract.
