According to SeaNews’ PortStat online analytic service, in May 2019 container traffic via the Russian North-Western sea ports grew by 5.9%year-on-year. Export was up 6.8%, and import up 5.1%.
Big Port of St. Petersburg
Container throughput via the Big Port of St. Petersburg increased by 2.4% year-on-year. Export was up 3.2% and import up 1.6%.

Ust-Luga
Container traffic via Ust-Luga in May 2019 declined by 21.6% year-on-year. Export dropped 68.9% while import was down 6.9%.

Kaliningrad
Container traffic via Kaliningrad surged 42.4% year-on-year in May. Import grew by 36.3% and export by 49.3%.
