According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-April 2019 Russia’s export of vodka grew both in physical terms and value-wise.
It made 614.6 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 13.1% year-on-year, physically, and $44.2 mn, up 22.8%, in terms of value.
In April, Russia exported almost 186 thousand decalitres, up 17.3% year-on-year and up 20.4% year-on-year, worth $13.7 mn, up 37% year-on-year and 26.9% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-April grew by 10.2% year-on-year up to $795.2 mn.
In April, it was up 10.5% year-on-year and 5% month-on-month to $219.2 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-April dropped by 49.3% down to $18.2 mn.
In April, it was down 64.9% year-on-year and down 6.1% month-on-month making $4.6 mn.
