FESCO Launches Block Train from Siberia to China

  • FESCO is launching a new regular container train service from Krasnoyarsk to Beijing via the Grodekovo / Suifenhe border crossing.

    The train will run on a weekly basis, the transit time will 12 days (6 days on the Russian territory and 6 days in China). The first train carrying 62 40’ containers laden with sawn goods arrived at Suifenhe on June 18, was transferred to the 1435-standard gauge and proceeded to the station of Xianin.

    FESCO currently operates two other rail services from Krasnoyarsk to China, one via Kazakhstan to Chengdu and Xian and the other via Mongolia to Chengdu.

    The company also offers intermodal options for Russian exporters to China using the port of Vladivostok.
