According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-February 2019 Russia exported 29.4 mn tons of coal, up 12.2% year-on-year.
In terms of value, coal export grew by 23.8% up to some $2.6 bn.
Coke and coal char export during the first two months of the year increased by 9.3% up to 534.6 thousand tons.
In terms of value it was up 3.4% to $1.6 bn.
