According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in 2018 Russia exported some 199.5 mn tons of coal, exceeding the previous year’s result by 9.9%.
In terms of value, coal export exceeded $17 bn, up 25.9% year-on-year.
In December, coal export made about 18.6 mn tons, down 5.7% month-on-month.
Coke and coal char export during the full year of 2018 declined by 6.2% down to 2.7 mn tons.
In terms of value it grew 14.7% up to $679.2 mn.
