According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in January-November 2018 Russia imported 55.7 mn pairs of leather footwear, up 16.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, leather footwear import increased 14% up to $1.6 bn.
In November, leather footwear import dropped by 30.3% month-on-month down to 2.3 mn pairs.
Clothes import into Russia in January-November grew by 7.4% up to over $6.5 bn.
Cotton fabric import decreased 2.1% up to 225.3 mn sqm in physical terms. In terms of value it was up 14.5% to $146.8 mn.
Cotton fabric export from Russia grew by 9.4% up to 78.9 mn sqm physically and by 1.2% up to $43 mn in terms of value.
