Russia’s export of cars during January-November 2018 amounted to 84.6 thousand units, increasing 9.4% year-on-year.
Truck export, according to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, was up 3.3% to 12.6 thousand units.
In terms of value, car export declined 3.6% down to $1.16 bn. Truck export, on the contrary, increased 16.8% up to $305.3 mn.
Car import grew by 13% up to 267.7 thousand units. Truck import declined 14.8% down to 23.3 thousand units.
In terms of value, car import was up 9.9% to some $6.6 bn. Truck import increased by just 0.1% up to $1.8 bn.
