According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-October 2018, Russia exported some 161.3 mn tons of coal, exceeding the previous year’s result by 10.3%.
In October, coal export made about 14.8 mn tons, down 23.3% month-on-month.
In terms of value, coal export during January-October 2018 amounted to some $13.7 bn, up 25.5% year-on-year.
Coke and coal char export in January-October 2018 declined 9.6% down to 2.3 mn tons.
In terms of value it grew 12.6% up to $568.2 mn.
