Rosneft’s new ice-class product tanker “RN Sakhalin” has completed her first voyage delivering oil products to Sakhalin.
The vessel is operated by Rosnefteflot, a subsidiary of Rosneft. With a deadweight of 3,100 tons, it can load four types of motor fuel.
The first shipment was loaded in Nakhodka at the terminal operated by another subsidiary of Rosneft operating a terminal in the port of Nakhodka, and discharged at RN-Vostoknefteprodukt terminal in the port of Korsakov.
In 2019, Rosneft intends to add to its fleet another tanker, “RN Primorye”, a sistership of “RN Sakhalin”.
