According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-September 2018 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.48 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit.
This is 0.5% above the figure for the same period of 2017.
In terms of value, vodka export in January-September was up 8.3% to $99.5 mn.
In September, vodka export grew 26.3% month-on-month up to 239.2 thousand decalitres.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-September grew by 12.4% year-on-year up to $1.8 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import was slightly down by 2.6% to $112.5 mn.
