According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-September 2018, Russia exported some 146.3 mn tons of coal, exceeding the previous year’s result by 9.3%.
In September, coal export made about 19.4 mn tons, up 5% month-on-month.
In terms of value, coal export during January-September 2018 amounted to $12.3 bn, up 23.9% year-on-year.
Coke and coal char export in January-September 2018 declined 9.1% down to 2 mn tons.
In terms of value it grew 16.7% up to $511.3 mn.
