Freight rates from Rostov to SE Black Sea ports are $28-29 per ton.

The forthcoming end of the navigation period is forcing shippers to increase freight levels for cargoes ex Volga and Don river ports.

A sufficient number of cargoes is quoted ex Astrakhan. Some shippers are ready and express willingness to conclude COAs from Astrakhan to NIP.

The demand for grain transportation from Aktau is also quite active, but the rates indicated here usually in low USD 20’s pmt.

The current freight rates from Astrakhan to Iran remain at $38-41 per ton.
