According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-August 2018, Russia exported some 126.9 mn tons of coal, exceeding the previous year’s result by 10.2%.
In August, coal export made about 18.4 mn tons, up 60% month-on-month.
In terms of value, coal export during January-August 2018 amounted to some $10.6 bn, up 23.5% year-on-year.
Coke and coal char export in January-August 2018 declined 9.8% down to 1.8 mn tons.
In terms of value it grew 15.9% up to $457.9 mn.
