According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-June 2018, Russia exported some 108.5 mn tons of coal, exceeding the previous year’s result by 9.9%.
In July, coal export made about 11.5 mn tons, down 40.8% month-on-month.
In terms of value, coal export during January-July 2018 amounted to $8.98 bn, up 22.5% year-on-year.
Coke and coal char export in January-July 2018 declined 8.5% down to 1.63 mn tons.
In terms of value it grew 17.9% up to $416.4 mn.
