According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, Russia’s export of coal during January-May 2018 increased 14.3% year-on-year to make over 77.5 mn tons.
Coal export in May grew 29.1% month-on-month up to 17.6 mn tons.
In terms of value, coal export in January-May was up 22.6% to $6.3 bn.
Coke and coal jar export during the 5 months of 2018 declined 8.1% down to 1.2 mn tons.
In terms of value, however, coke and coal jar increased 25.2% up to $321.1 mn.
