By order of the Harbour Master of Vyborg, new, softer ice restrictions are introduced in the port of Vyborg in the Gulf of Finland w.e.f. April 10, 2018.
Barges moved by tugs are still banned from sailing in the port basin and the approach channels.
Vessels with no ice class are allowed to sail only with icebreaker assistance.
Vessels with Ice1 ice class and a higher ice class are allowed to sail with icebreaker assistance or independently.
