During January-November 2017, according to the RF Federal Customs Service, Russia imported 47.7 mn pairs of leather footwear, up 13.4% year-on-year.
In terms of value, leather footwear import increased 40% to $1.43 bn.
Clothes import was up 25.7% to $6 bn.
Cotton fabric import grew 52% to 230.1 mn sq m. In terms of value, cotton fabric import increased 36.4% to $128 mn.
Cotton fabric export from Russia, on the contrary, declined 12% to 72.2 mn sc m physically, while in terms of value it grew 16.4% up to $42.5 mn.
