According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in January-November 2017 Russia exported 26.08 mn tons of ferrous metals, 2.7% less than during the same period of 2016.
In terms of value, ferrous metals export grew 35.7% to $12.4 bn.
Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export declined 5.2% to $12.99 mn. In terms of value this export category saw a 35.8% increase to $5.4 bn.
Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export decreased slightly 0.8% to 7.9 mn tons physically and surged 42.7% to $4.1 bn in terms of value.
Cast iron export dropped 12.8% to 4.07 mn tons physically and grew 33.3% to some $1.4 bn in terms of value.
Ferroalloys export was down 1.8% physically to 677 thousand tons while increasing 8.7% in terms of value to $1.18 bn.
