During the 10 months of 2017, Russia imported 45.8 mn pairs of leather footwear. This is 9.4% more than during the same period last year.
In terms of value, according to the RF Federal Customs Service, leather footwear import surged 40.5% to some $1.4 bn.
Clothes import grew 26.3% to $5.57 bn.
Cotton fabrics import increased 53.9% to 208.6 mn sqm. In terms of value, it grew 37.4% to $116.1 mn.
Cotton fabrics export from Russia declined 13.7% year-on-year to 64.6 mn sqm. In terms of value, the export of cotton fabrics increased 15.6% to $38.5 mn.
