During the 10 months of 2017 Russia imported 529.8 thousand tons of fresh and frozen meet, 6% more than during the same period of 2016.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service, meet products and canned meet import decreased slightly by 0.6% to make 14.6 thousand tons.
Fresh and frozen poultry import grew 5.7% to 190.7 thousand tons. Fish import increased 15.2% year-on-year to 334.4 thousand tons.
Milk and condensed cream import was up 8.2% to 208.2 thousand tons. Butter import grew 14% to 89.8 thousand tons.
Vegetable oil import surged 4.9-fold to 19.4 thousand tons.
The import of citrus fruit increased 7.1% to 976.9 thousand tons.
Raw sugar import dropped 94.9% to 12.5 thousand tons, white sugar import was down 3.1% to 217.1 thousand tons.
