Russia Suspends Grain and Sugar Export

  • The Government of the Russian Federation has imposed a temporary ban on the export of grain and sugar from Russia. Decrees No 361 and No 362 of March 14, 2022 were signed by Premier Mikhail Mushustin.

    The ban on grain export covers wheat and meslin, rye, barley, and corn and is in force till June 30. The ban on sugar export is valid till August 31, 2022.
