According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-September 2020 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.5 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 0.6% year-on-year, physically, and $99.6 mn, down 7.3%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-September declined by 8.3% year-on-year to $1.85 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-September decreased by 7.3% down to $42.9 mn.
In September, Russia exported 214.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 1.5% year-on-year and up 6.6% month-on-month, worth $12 mn, down 17.8% year-on-year and the same amount as August this year.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in September was down 3.4% year-on-year and up 13.3% month-on-month to $260.9 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in September was down 36.2% year-on-year and down 62% month-on-month to $3 mn.
