According to the RF Federal Customs Statistics, during January-June 2018 Russia imported 28.9 mn pairs of leather footwear, up 20.9% year-on-year.
In terms of value, leather footwear import increased 24.2% up to $778.7 mn.
It should be noted in June leather footwear import increased 91.7% up to 4.6 mn pairs.
Cotton fabric import decreased 5.8% up to 116 mn sqm. In terms of value, it grew 13.7 % up to $78.6 mn.
Cotton fabric export from Russia was up 1.4 up to 42 mn sqm and up 3.8 % to $24.3 mn in terms of value.
