EuroChem Makes First Shipment under Agreement with Global Ports

  • EuroChem has loaded the first shipment in the framework of its agreement with Global Ports signed earlier this year, the company said in a statement.

    3,000 tons of defluorinated phosphate, a highly efficient environmentally friendly feed additive for high-yield livestock and poultry farming with an increased content of lemon-soluble form of phosphorus was dispatched to St. Petersburg for shipping by sea from Global Ports’ terminals.

    In accordance with the agreement, Global Ports will provide delivery of products from EuroChem’s facilities on board block trains in special purpose containers to its terminals located in the Big Port of St. Petersburg and load them on board vessels. The monthly traffic can make up to 100,000 tons.

    The agreement is valid till the end of 2024 with an option to be prolonged till the end of 2025.
