A shipment of honey from Bashkiria has been sent to Lithuania for the first time, the regional branch of the RF Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) reports.
The 20.4-ton shipment of natural honey from Ufa to Lithuania is the fourth shipment of this product to the EU from that region since the year start.
The aggregate export of honey made in Bashkiria to Poland and Lithuania amounted to 81.6 tons in 2023.
All the 102 200-kilogram barrels were sampled. The control has confirmed the product complies with requirements of the importer country.
