The Board of Sovcomflot has taken a decision to hold EGM on December 18, 2023 by absentee vote and recommended the shareholders to approve paying the dividend for the 9 months ending September 30, 2023.
The proposed dividend amounts to 15 billion rubles ($158.4 thousand) or 6.32 rubles per ordinary share, the company said in a statement. The Company Board motivates the proposal by the Company’s financial results and the current freight market conditions.
The Company confirms its strategic commitment to pay dividend amounting to 50% of the corrected IFRS net profit in rubles. Recommendations as to the dividend for the full year of 2023 will be defined by the Board in accordance with the dividend policy in force taking into account the actual financial results for 2023 and the forecasted CAPEX required for long-term development targets.
