Ruscon and RZD Logistics to Launch Multimodal Container Service via Russian Far East

  • Multimodal transportation operator Ruscon, part of Delo Group, will launch a multimodal container service via the Far East of Russia in cooperation with RZD Logistics.

The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by Sergey Berezkin, Head of Ruscon, and Dmitry Murev, General Director of RZD Logistics, at the Eastern Economic Forum.

The parties plan to develop a joint multimodal container service for the transportation of import and export cargo through Vladivostok’s Pervomaisky seaport.

“Ruscon, as part of Delo Group, is actively and purposefully developing multimodal services through the Group’s own facilities in the Far East of Russia. This project will be an addition to the existing range of routes and will allow us to offer our customers more opportunities for flexible transportation planning through Vladivostok,” said Sergey Berezkin.

“Closer cooperation with Ruscon will allow RZD Logistics to increase its presence in the region. Thanks to the organization of a joint multimodal service, which involves the infrastructure of Vladivostok’s Pervomaisky seaport, another route will be formed in export and import traffic and additional opportunities will be created for shippers,” said Dmitry Murev.
