Eurasia Logistics has registered as a resident of the Amurskaya Advanced Development Territory in the Russian Far East to develop a terminal project.
According to the RF Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the facility will be used to handle and store containers, general cargo and machinery and will have an annual capacity of more than 150,000 tons.
The investor intends to deliver to the Far East a wide range of commodities including consumer goods, agricultural machines, industrial equipment, and high and heavy cargo.
Eurasia Logistics said it plans to serve both domestic and export and import traffic delivering containers from Russia to China river and road from Blagoveschensk to Heihe and from China via the sea ports in the Russian Far East. The terminal in Amur Region will be used to handle and temporarily store that cargo.
The complex will include two facilities, one in the village of Rovnoe, and the other in the city of Blagoveschensk. There will be roofed and open warehouses for general cargo, container yards, a parking lot for specialized machinery and equipment, a weighing platform, and other objects.
The investor expects to start with design and survey by the end of this year and to commence construction proper in 2024.
